Hosted by IRL BFFLs Jackie Batsinduka and Rebecca Rogers, Slumber Party is a webseries that untangles teenage and young adulthood from Y2K to today. Through the hosts’ nostalgic
yet critical take on growing up in the age of the internet, Slumber Party tries to make sense of the overly mediated lives of its hosts and viewers through video essays, interviews, and sketches. Slumber Party was generously supported by the Indigenous Screen Office’s Solidarity Fund for BIPOC Creators.

Done in
collaboration with culture blog Ubuntu Talks, Being: Hair showcases the intricacies
and intimacy shared between two black women as one braids the other’s hair. This
video was exhibited at Montreal’s Mainline Gallery as a part of Ubuntu Talks’
Being series.
